It helps to identify how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life. But important thing is that a person’s mental health can change over time, depending on many factors. Amongst all the factors food plays an important role.
Healthy food can have a huge impact on our state of mind. Nutritionists from fruits and vegetables can help to clear free radicals from the body and decrease inflammation which helps us to feel better. A healthy diet can help us to think clearly and feel more alert. It can also improve concentration and attention span. Oppositely, an unhealthy diet can lead to fatigue, impaired decision-making, and can slow down the reaction.
Where food makes the building blocks of our body, there it can also create a negative and a positive mindset. Eating healthy food helps to create a positive mindset and let the mind feel good. Healthy eating enhances our positive mindset. People who take a healthy diet are more likely to have a positive mindset. A healthy diet helps to reduce depression, boost our immunity, lower the risks of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and some cancers. It also improves our memory and brain health. Recent research tells us that those people who eat more fruits and vegetables are less depressed, much happier, and more satisfied with the lives which they are living. Another benefit of taking a healthy diet and being healthy that Greater self-acceptance, Increased self-esteem, Improved self-expression, and management of emotions. Irregular eating patterns are associated with negative emotions like anger, sadness, fear, and low mood, loneliness, anxiety, etc.
Positive effects of healthy food on mental health and lifestyle
Healthy food plays a vital role in our mental health as well as our lifestyle. Healthy food improves our quality of life. Healthy food also manages our daily life stress. If we eat healthy food then we can easily focus on our works. Healthy food makes a man happier. Healthy food unlocks our intelligence. We are human we can’t control things in life but we can control what we eat and drink. Food works in our body as same petrol works in the vehicle. According to Dr. Cora healthy food helps with the symptoms of depression and anxiety it means that when we take healthy food then we have less chance for depression and anxiety. A healthy diet helps us to think positive and act positively. Healthy food prevents us from many diseases such as heart attack and stroke. A pure diet improves our memory. Our mood also depends on a diet if we take healthy food then our mood will be better and energetic.
